One of my favorite places to shop. Meat is a bit pricey but it's worth the extra money because the quality is unbeatable. When you go to your local grocery store (the big 3/4 chains). Where does their meat come from? I don't know! I know EXACTLY where the meat comes from at Thompson's (lol.... from the back room....lol). Their rope sausage is PHENOMENAL. They also have kielbasa and a couple of freezers worth of chicken breasts, fries, home made perogies, etc. The place is ALWAYS packed. It's a throwback to my childhood - good 'old small town Pennsyltucky and it's roots in PA Dutch quality and culture. Stop in.... everyone is helping and a delight to deal with.
Awesome meats ! They get you out in a timely manner they don't mess around it's a little different on the weekend mind you but you're in and out it's great meet your awesome quality the meat is awesome you guys can't complain you can't I mean geez where else are you going to get better me for the amount of money you spend you're not
I moved to NC 6 years ago you get the strangest looks when you ask about ring bologna well I went to Thomson's on Saturday and happened to snag the last ring. Boy do I miss this place!
